Carl spent 18 years as a strategy and analysis consultant in the IT industry, helping [types of clients — e.g. "enterprise and mid-market clients across (sectors)"] make clear-eyed decisions about new markets, new technology and where to invest. Planetary Horizons applies that same discipline to a frontier most businesses haven't yet taken seriously: the lunar economy.

Carl is not an aerospace engineer, and won't pretend to be one. What he brings is the thing most of the space industry lacks — rigorous commercial strategy — paired with a deep, deliberate study of the rules of the new lunar economy: the Artemis Accords, the treaties beneath them, UK and European space regulation, and the procurement programmes that turn policy into purchase orders. Where an engagement needs specialist engineering judgement, we bring in vetted technical associates — and tell you exactly when we have.
